Anne Curtis

Anne Curtis Smith, a Filipino Australian model and record artist and television host is the recipient of numerous honors during her career. It includes two FAMAS Awards one Luna Award and two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards. The actress was nominated for twice for Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis has appeared in a variety of television shows such as Hiram Campanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino ka Man Dyosa (2009) Green Rose (2009) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003). She played the cult Komiks role of Dyesebel in the Mars Ravelo show Dyesebel. She hosted It's Showtime at noon between 2009 and 2020. Anne Curtis was born in Melbourne, Australia on 17th February, 1985. She is a Filipina and an Australian actor. There have been a variety of accolades in her profession. The two FAMAS Awards have been given to her, along with she has won the Luna Award and two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards. Additionally, she has been nominated for two Gawad Urian Awards as well as Eight PMPC Star Awards For Movies. Curtis has appeared in a variety of television programs, including Hiram, Maging Sino Dyosa and Green Rose. In 2014, she played the iconic Komiks Dyesebel character on Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. Also, she has been the presenter on the popular noontime variety show, It's Showtime (2009-2020). Curtis was born in Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia she is the daughter of Carmencita Ojales a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis Smith, an Australian lawyer. Her father, James Ernest Curtis Smith got married to Ojales back in 1982. Jasmine's younger sister, also an actor, is her father. From their father's perspective, they had a half-sister called Clare who died in 2007 from an illness of the heart at just four months old.
