Candice King was an American actor from the United States. She rose to the top of Hollywood's ladder after playing Caroline Forbes, the lead character of The Vampire Diaries. Though Candice achieved fame as an actor she first made her mark as a performer. She released her first album"It's Always the Uninvolved in the United States', in 2009. She was the composer on twelve of 14 tracks on the album. The artist was also working simultaneously on her acting skills as well as guest staring in two shows, including How I Met Your Mother. Although she had a steady professional career, her biggest break was not until The Vampire Diaries. The show instantly brought her into the spotlight. Candice Queen received acclaim for her outstanding acting skills and outstanding performance. She reprised her role for the eight seasons comprising 171 episodes. The Originals (2018) and Legacies (2021) were two spinoffs that saw her reprise her role.
